November at LPM | Awards, Festive Menu & Events

In less than two weeks we unveil our Festive Menu and what a treat it is! We’re bringing in all those gorgeous traditional winter flavours (apple, honey, walnut, nutmeg) and using the best Scottish produce to create inspired dishes.

We are taking bookings for December but please note we close on Christmas Day for a rest before Hogmanay kicks off!

Opening hours are 12-4pm for lunch then 5-9:30pm for dinner and we will stay open right the way through. Find the our lunch offer here.

The Christmas Set Menu is available all day and launches November 30th:

Glass of Sparkling Wine on Arrival

Starters

Honey glazed slow cooked belly of pork, black pudding and pancetta disk

Hot and cold smoked salmon and orange pate balontine, mojito salt cured Scottish salmon, crispy salmon skin

Sweetcorn, chilli and lime poppy seeded ravioli, coconut tom kha sauce

Mains

Pan seared flat iron steak, roast chestnut dauphinoise potatoes, basil and mushroom pesto, truffle cauliflower puree

Apple, walnut, sage and corn fed chicken roulade, duck fat confit sweet potato puree, mushroom and sage risotto

Parma ham and chorizo crusted cod fillet, cullen skink arancini, brussel sprout and nutmeg puree, Parma ham crisp, sautéed chorizo and cabbage

Pan fried seabass fillet, sautéed turmeric and parsley spätzle, bok choy, Thai green curry sauce

Beetroot and tarragon risotto cakes, pressed spinach, pickled carrot ribbons, salsa of beetroot, almond and goats cheese

Desserts

Sticky toffee pudding, gingerbread pudding, vanilla ice cream, toffee sauce

Mince pie rice pudding with dehydrated orange slice, orange polenta cake

Apple and sage bavarois,  saffron poached pears

Cheese selection – Campbelltown loch cheese, blue murder, smoked barwheys, apple and ginger chutney, artisan oatcakes

Upcoming Events at LPM

We have teamed up with Glenrothes Whisky and Our Fathers Wines for two unique events in the next month!

St Andrew’s Day is also our new menu launch and what better way to celebrate than with a a nice dram… or two. Our staff have come up with a new whisky cocktail and will be serving up Glenrothes Vintage Reserve and Select Reserve alongside our Festive Menu.

Wine Dinner with Our Fathers Wines – Charity Evening

On December 7th we will have our next Wine Dinner event with Our Fathers Wines.They are a small, artisan wine producer whose production is based in the Adelaide Hills region of South Australia. Our Fathers is also committed to supporting Mental Health charities and the profit made from the sale of their Barossa Shiraz wine on the night will go to a Scottish Mental Health charity. More details to come soon so watch this space!
